Maven's Picks for Belfast Design Week

Belfast Design Week returns for it's 4th year next week from 06 - 11 November. There are so many great events happening, we thought we'd highlight a few below.

As part of Belfast Design Week, we are delighted to welcome Mourne Textiles to Maven next weekend. Mourne Textiles will be in with one of their smaller looms & a specially curated selection of coasters, placemats, cushions & scarfs to create a one off Pop-Up Shop at Maven.  Friday & Saturday: 10.00 – 17.30 / Loom & Pop-Up Shop Saturday: 11.00 – 13.00 & 14.00 – 17.00 / A unique opportunity to meet Karen & Mario from Mourne Textiles

Former Mavenette, Síofra Caherty, is one of the speakers at the festivals conference next Friday. Design Camp takes place at the Ulster Museum & Síofra will be joined by Nick Gazin - Art Editor at VICE NYC, Stephen Morris Graham - Belfast based Illustrator, Pamela Smyth - Hair & Make Up for Film & TV & Aideen Cole representing 100 Archive.   Design Camp / Friday 09 November, 09.30 - 15.30 / Ulster Museum  Speaker info and tickets

Taking place in UNIQUE at Belfast School of Art, supper will be provided by Maven favourite, Little Pink Kitchen & the guest speaker is Jacky Sheridan.
